Hi,
I recently read about problems people are having with CEC when pi is not powered (due to D14). But my problem is slightly different.
I have a LG TV (LG 42LK530) and both pi and PC are connected to the TV using HDMI only. Now, my pi is always on and I'm trying to use CEC by using TV's remote. In this situation nothing works as expected - pi is not detected in CEC (called SIMPLINK by LG or something like that) and remote control does not work. The magic that "fixes" everything is to unplug the PC (HDMI is connected to nvidia 460 card). Now the pi is detected and CEC works perfect. If I plug the PC back, CEC stops working immediately, even when previously successfully detected (when the PC was unplugged). The above is true even for powered off PC.
Do you have any suggestion? Is it a bug in TV's firmware, D14 problem on the pi or something else?
Any help will be apprecited.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
